Truso Valley: A 15-Minute Walk to the “Dancing” Lake
In the Truso Valley, 500 meters from the main road, there is a small, magical trail that leads you directly to one of the strangest and most beautiful natural phenomena – the Abano Mineral Lake.
Everything starts on the right bank of the Tergi River, at a small metal bridge. As soon as you cross the bridge, an unusual yet practical sight awaits you – steps made from tires embedded in the ground. It is this original staircase that takes you up to the trail leading directly to the lake.
A Walk Along the Slope
The trail is quite narrow, and in about 15 minutes, you will be at your destination. As you walk, the Tergi River flows noisily to your left. The view is impressive, but caution is still necessary.
Before you reach the lake, you will catch sight of another natural wonder along the way – red-colored mineral water flowing from the rocks, adding another unique touch to the already colorful palette of the valley.
The Blue, Dancing Lake
Abano Lake stands out in any season with its amazing, deep blue color. Its main charm is the natural gases rising from the depths, which constantly create bubbles on the surface, giving the impression that the lake is dancing or breathing. This unique sight makes it a special attraction.
